Dear Camp Families,

We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season and had a happy new year. It was great seeing so many photos of campers and staff who saw each other over winter vacation. Camp friends truly are the best friends.

Our Director Team has been busy planning our activity schedule, trips and all the evening programs and special events. We are just about 5 months away from opening day and we can't wait.

Now is the time for our camp families to start the process of completing the necessary camper forms. The information you provide goes a long way to insure the safety and welfare of your child. All of the required camp forms can be found in your CampMinder account by clicking here.

Two forms that we always get questions about are the Camper Profile and the Bunk Request Form. The Camper Profile is important for both new and returning campers. It gives us important information about your child so our staff can provide them with a safe, successful and rewarding experience. Feel free to call either one of us, if there is anything that you would like to discuss. The information shared is always confidential.

The Bunk Request Form allows campers to request to be placed in the same cabin with another camper who is the same gender and age. If the request is mutual, then we are able to honor it. Cabins are formed on a rolling basis. So submit your request as soon as possible. Bunk requests won't be accepted for campers who aren't enrolled yet. We are close to being full for many cabins, especially in our July 12 - 25 session. So, if you have friends who haven't enrolled their child yet, or are considering North Star for the first time, encourage them to enroll or contact us right way.

Booking Flights to Boston and Portland

As a reminder, if you are flying to and/or from camp, you must confirm your flights with the camp office before purchasing tickets. Arrivals at Boston Logan Airport occur the day before the regularly scheduled check-in day.

Arrival days in Boston are on the following Saturdays only - June 27, July 11 and July 25. Departure days for flights out of Boston are the same as the last day of each session - July 11, July 25 and August 15.

If you are flying into Portland Jetport contact the office as well to confirm your flights before booking. Flights into and out of Portland should be booked on the actual arrival and departure date for each session.

Camp Clothing

It's never too early to start purchasing your camp gear and ordering your camp clothes. Click here for the full packing list. You'll notice, that every camper is required to have an Orange Trip T-Shirt, Green Logo T-Shirt, Green Logo Shorts, and CNS Sweatshirt.

There's also a wide selection of optional clothes including jackets, pajamas and socks, in addition to essentials like duffel bags and bedding. Additional Options - Golf, Horseback Riding,
Tennis & Basketball

We offer very popular optional programs in Horseback Riding, Golf, Basketball and Tennis.

Horseback riding is a double period for 2 hours daily. We partner with Wilsonbrook Farm to offer horseback riding instruction at their facility which includes over 100 acres of trails and hills, a round pen and an indoor arena for rainy days. Riding is offered at an additional fee of $300 per week.

Golf is a single period for 1 hour each day. Golf lessons are offered for first time players through advanced golfers. Instruction is at Poland Spring Golf Course, where their PGA pros coach our campers. Golf is offered at an additional fee of $150 per week.

Coach Isaiah is returning to lead our Morning Basketball intensive that is offered during Session 2. It's a 5-day program where campers spend 2 1/2 hours per day on the basketball court receiving individualized coaching based on their skill level. The instruction will help beginner through advanced players improve their game. The cost is $125 for the week long program.

Private Tennis Lessons with our tennis coaches are offered throughout the summer. Lessons are $40 per hour. You can register your child for as little as 1 lesson or as many as you want. We are excited that Coach Chris is back for another summer leading our tennis program.
